After Bucharest, the Doom Mood exhibition also had its opening in Lillestrøm, Norway. The Amfiteatru Foundation team was represented by Angelica Maria, Matilda Ardeleanu, Toma Hurduc, and Sorin Florea. They all took part in setting up the exhibition and attending the event during a four-day visit on February 12th to 15th, 2025.
On the first day, the team met with the representatives from Nitja, then visited the exhibition space to inspect the artworks and plan their installation. Lighting adjustments were made, the sound background was tested, and both teams finalized the exhibition layout. The work lists and exhibition map were also prepared. In the afternoon, the team visited the camera obscura and the CYAN lab and met with Stig Weston.
The installation took place on the second day under the coordination of Nitja’s technician, Tor Arne. Giulia Mangione contributed to installing her own works. By the afternoon, all exhibition details were finalized, with Jessica Williams overseeing the final adjustments. Sorin Florea conducted a series of filmed interviews, while Toma Hurduc assembled the final slideshow.
Friday morning was dedicated to individual visits to bookstores in Oslo, the National Museum, and Studio Technika. At 4:00 PM, the team gathered at Nitja for final checks. At 5:30 PM, the cultural attaché of the Romanian Embassy in Norway visited the exhibition. The official opening took place at 6:00 PM, followed by a speech delivered together with the Nitja team. At 8:00 PM, the talk Truth Has No Friends in The West was held, followed by discussions with Jelsen Lee Innocent. The team also interacted with artists and curators from Serbia, Projekat Exp:.
The final day was dedicated to individual explorations, including the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Munch Museum, and art bookstores.
